They've got a gig down your way then?
If they have, they can come and wash the car!

The sky has been a weird creamy-yellow colour all morning....
We had the same thing but much stronger in October 2017 when the sky turned a dark yellowy-orange from Sahara sand and also the fires in Portugal. It was very strange ...

So far it seems to have swept west of us with no obvious fall out.

Same here, on our trip into town all the auto car washers were busy  my grey gates and fencing are now a sand colour so we need some fresh rain, fortunately the car lives indoors.

How do you get it through the door?

My wife objected when I mentioned bringing my little Kubota tractor indoors.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Hoping for some cleaner rain today - then pressure wash off the remainder of the sand that makes the Subaru look like it's just been through the Paris-Dakar dune phase!

As for bringing your prized vehicles indoors - knew a guy in our "group" from College once, who kept his motorbike, albeit dismantled, in his room. But then he also had a collection of hair in a jar on the mantlepiece, and a bogey diary, so ....... :?
