Listened to a government bod on the radio this morning. (Cleverley?) When asked why it had taken 40 years to decide to repay the legitimate debt he blamed it on the sanctions against Iran that couldn't be broken. My solution would have been to set up shell companies to buy London property by proxy for Iran. A system that has been working well for a long time for Russians, Arabs, and international arms dealers.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Is it reasonable to condemn an entire nation because of a "corrupt and misogynic" government ? Just look at Russia !

Iran is not the only country to take foreign visitors as a hostage to use as a bargaining chip with another country.

Look at the various Canadians held in China as another example.

It seems to be a strategy from the Despots 101.
