21 indoors this morning, probably the same outside because I see it is 18 in Perigueux and we are normally 2 or3 above them. I'll check that and the pond when I pass it with Jules on the way out.

Strange thing. I normally keep my bedroom door closed throughout the day and when reading after going to bed, to keep the room fly free. But when I switch the light off to go to sleep I open the door, for the night, but last night I forgot. Fortunately not hot so had a good sleep.

At the moment we have windows and shutters open (or off their hinges) because the house is being painted. It now feels distinctly chilly in the house and I feel almost certain the heating will be switched on again tonight.

Coolest night so far this autumn, 11c but due to be 30c pm.
And yes after the 15th it always gets autumnal but it started earlier this year. The birds are a flocking.

Cool either end of the day +9 last night, but still BBQ around 1700hrs, but in the shade, still watering some plants, the grass is loosing its greenness.
