Same here Blaze. Only exotic oils and limited supplies of olive oil available. And still no mustard.

I believe that most mustard seed is imported - there was me thinking it came from Dijon!

Most mustard is imported. A lot from Canada but they have had successive bad harvests, so the recent supply has come from Russia - or rather it doesn't anymore.

Baby U had 2 shelves full of huile de tournesol this morning and a fair amount of olive oil. Mustard a-plenty, but....there were gaps in most sectors of the shop, including paper products.

Well, well, well. Auchan was just putting mustard out as I passed down that aisle.

On the other hand Castorama had neither sand nor gravel. I bought the cement anyway. Knowing my luck they would be out of that when the sand and gravel arrive.

Edit to add: And Lidl had 3l bottles of sunflower oil with no limit on how many you could buy. Just one small catch - over €10.50 per bottle!

Today our chippy van was back to frying fish & chips cos our local Intermarche had put some litres on one side for him and will continue to do so as they've told him his van has brought a lot of business into the supermarket whilst folk wait for their fish & chip to be fried - a good outcome for both parties.
