I'll let you know when the ground's soft enough to push it in.
I borrowed one yonks ago & it worked fine although as one weed at a time is way beyond my boredom threshold I'm hoping to train up Mrs LAF in the finer points of weed removal. :)

What a shame, Exile, that this ad refers to all the current methods of packaging. This needs someone to look at the problem in a totally different way. For example, scanning an item to cut a package from a roll of material, simple software and laser cutting machines, how to attach large lables to small items instead of packing in large boxes (presumably to avoid loss in transit). A sideways thinker required if ever there was one.

These firms are also limited - by their own structures - in the number of packaging sizes they keep in stock. So they don't have a range of boxes going up in size in 2cm increments - more likely 10cm increments or more. And if they stock out of one size of box, then they have to go up to the next size. Now of course they shouldn't stock out but there is currently a significant shortage of cardboard packaging and if SCA or Smurfitt Kappa are late in delivering, then stockouts can happen with little recourse for Amazon because the other supplier will be as bad if not worse.
Don't forget these 'OIKS' make the world go round. What a terrible way to refer to people. Shame on you.

Couldn't resist a trial.
Lawn rock hard but tool entered easily.
Pulled weeds with 150mm roots & self seeded little oak trees no probs whilst leaving only a tiny hole.
Would want to have to pull all the weeds in our 2,500m2 'lawn/orchard' but great for anyone who has just a few weeds to pull. No bending or other gymnastics needed so very easy on ones back.
Too hot to carry out further trials but got to be worth the 33.50€ I paid for it.

As LAF says, so long as you can get the spiky end into the ground, they work very well. The spiky bit has to be positioned over the centre of the weed.

Great for them as long as you can score a bull when you shove the pointy bit in.
We've loads of 'em & thats what I was trialing the m/c on. Doesn't really matter if you only get a 25 but it does result in a bigger hole in the lawn.
Whips 'em out no problems & I've just left 'em on the lawn to wither ready for mowing sometime.

Clearly what was meant to be tongue in cheek has not been read as such.
The word "Oik" was used in response to LAF's description as "downright stupid" which to my mind could on refer to the person putting the items in a box.

I do fully agree that warehouse(wo)men keep all of the wheels of our lives turning.

Only you could think that .

Presumably, to your mind, your 31 years of it (whatever that is) allows you to also post comments such as "you demonstrate a complete lack of knowledge of how modern warehouse logistics works. The warehouse operators are frankly not the sharpest pencils in the box. I have in my career personally come across 3 individuals who had extreme difficulty with literacy/numeracy. If you think they should have first year vets university experience as a minimum - think again.
These people will be on minimum wage. They are told to go a to a warehouse location and select a specific number of items. Most likely they will not know - let alone care - whether the box they select is a medication or a scratching pad or bedding or more . "

This comment is not only insulting to warehouse operators but me also .
