What's for Dinner?

2 x chipolatas mashed spuds and green beans and one baked potato and goats cheese puff.

Why do fried chipolatas stink the house out, I have the kitchen door closed and the French windows open and the house still stinks.

I think I'll have a cheese salad sandwich.

I'm doing Bohnensuppe for lunch. Not quite as my granny-in-law made it, but...

Well the start of prepping dinner, 10Kgs of leg of pork in a cider and juniper berry brine, thirty days in fridge, two days drying, two days cold smoking. 8Kgs of pork shoulder, turned into 5.7Kgs of Lincolnshire Sausages, 3Kgs of sausage meat, 1.4Kgs plain pork mince, 1.2Kgs of pork for Pork pies. 3Kgs of loin of pork, in a dry cure for ten days, two days drying, 5/7hrs cold smoked, turned into apple and maple smoked back bacon, this lot should last us a few dinners :D :D

Shop-bought lasagne today. I fell in the véranda a few days ago, crashing down on a shoulder/clavicle and putting me out of action for dog knows how long.

Sounds terribly painful. Hope it doesn't take too long to heal. Isn't it amazing what we CAN'T do when one of our arms is out of service.

Thank goodness for ready made meals under these circumstances.
