Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, compost to compost?

Another US State has legalised composting bodies as an alternative to burial or cremation.

Would you want your body composting as an alternative?

Would you spread human compost on the garden?

Less Co2 emissions than cremation?

There was a time when, think it was in India, they put your remains on a platform several metres up and the vultures done their job, but now there is a shortage of vultures, I heard it was because of the contaminated cattle carcasses, they put on the landfill and the resulting death of anything eating it. Come back as a vulture, just watch what you eat.

Don't use a high platform. The rats will do the job. :?

Don't eat vulture!
I think it would depend on the cause of death, wouldn't it? Supposing you died from radiation sickness? Or the plague?
I'm all in favour if it doesn't contaminate rather than enrich the soil.

I've seen that video before, J.! Excellent idea, but obviously it doesn't find favour with the funeral industry lobby. I can't imagine that the French pompes funèbres would welcome it with open arms either.
I'd opt for that like a shot....it would be good to be useful after popping off :D IIRC, though, the compost is only spread in dedicated forests. There are already strict laws here about what you can do with cremated ashes.
