I think I have posted this before in another place but nevertheless:
Shot in November 2010 just as the sun came over the horizon from just outside the kitchen window (as in I could have reached back and touched it). I missed the honey spot when the brown patches down in the valley were also lit up as gold but by the time the camera was in hand.............

It was probably in the same place that I originally tried this thread but nevertheless it's always worth you taking your valuable time to show folk again just what a wonderfull view you have.

It could be worse Nomoss.
I still haven't got a kitchen the renovation hasn't got that far yet - we're only 20 years into a 5 year renovation so far.

Keep the piccies coming, it's nice to know what everyone else sees while they're doing the washing up.

We do indeed have wonderful views but as with all things there are some negatives* to go alongside the positives and others would for good reason discount the views in favour of eliminating some of the negatives.L Austin France wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 7:47 pmIt was probably in the same place that I originally tried this thread but nevertheless it's always worth you taking your valuable time to show folk again just what a wonderfull view you have.
Nowhere is perfect - at least nowhere I could afford.
* for example:
22km round trip to a moderately sized supermarket and 90km round trip to a grande surface one.
Hospitals and doctors similarly remote.
We can be cut off in winter and utilities fail rather more frequently than elsewhere.

Ah perhaps I should have mentioned: That is not the view from the kitchen sink - which faces a blank wall and if it did have a window at normal height, would be 50% obscured by the ground rising behind.

Interesting ..................... I'll ask the She wolf what her view is like when she does the washing-up.
