I've only just found this topic having been away sans internet for a couple of weeks. I loved anything with horses in it, westerns and adventure series/films.

When I was a young kid we only had two black & white channels, BBC and ITV.

BBC 2 and colour didn't come along till I was about 10 years old.

From the early years I remember Dr.Who, Bonanza,Andy Pandy, The Flintstones,Bill & Ben,
Robin Hood,Ready,Steady,Go,All our Yesterdays and a lot more.
I seem to remember a lot of westerns on too.

All Our Yesterday was one of my favourites too, welcome from me btw , I can see the quietly spoken bloke's face now but can't remember his name. It was themed on '25 years ago' so was full of WW2 stuff, ironic now to think that 25 years back from now, would not takes us near to him, never mind the war. 1996, that's all, and I am still rooted in the 50s and 60s, musicwise anyway.

That's the man, died in London in 1993, just after writing the obit for his friend Bill Grundy. Another name from the past, his career virtually finished when he was subjected to effing and blinding by the Sex Pistols when he was interviewing them.

Has anyone mentioned How, Fred Dineage and Jack Hargreaves, then Jack in his shed showing country pursuits. Talking of Circus Boy wasn't that Micky Dolenz of the Monkees fame and Noah Beery.
