I suppose that means we won't get any rain, again. Whatever you get seems to jump over, or by, us. I don't want any violence, but I really could do with some rain, if only to get rid of this heat and heavy atmosphere.

I hope it doesn't break for a while, as I'm hoping our tobacco leaves will finish ripening as they got a late start this year.
Making your own cigars? hand rolled on a fair maidens tanned thigh  What other weeds are we also growing Char, it can be our little secret honest ;) ;) Very hot yesterday 32c and sticky, was supposed to rain last night but it didn't, the latest is that we will have heavy rain strong winds today, as I type the clouds are moving in from the south, gusting to 6mph, they are dark so expect rain in the next two hours, we could do with it.

Now after 24 hours warnings of huge storms and up to 80mm of rain,we have heard the first clap of thunder, only rain so far is gnats piss.
Looking at my lightning app you poor people between Perigeaux and Chatereaux have had it all day.
Probably hit us tonight but just rain please.

Well we got our rain, after all the weeks of drought, it waited to teem down just as I was going in and out at the vets. Soon as I got home it was time for my afternoon swim. Very enjoyable and I hardly got wetter, the temp of the water had gone up to 19. :o

  No fair maidens or cigars here. I have lots of weeds in the garden, but I don't think they the ones you're thinking of. :P

t'was stiflingly hot here this morning, wind got up and clouds started appearing after lunch, and it's been trying to rain. I think it's evaporating before it hits the ground at the moment.

It'll probably chuck it down for the rest of the week now, because we ordered our bois de chauffage which will be delivered on Saturday - sorry folks. :(

13 cm of rain fell on Agen 47 in 2 hours last night. We were lucky. Didn’t get any. The thunderstorm was spectacular.

Thats a lot of rain, we had 13mm, lots of thunder from two storms both to the east of us, but we could only see a few flashes of lightening,, but a warning out on Meteo France for 32 Depts his morning, for thunder and lightening.

5 hours of torrential rain from late afternoon yesterday. No work possible after that.
I enjoy watching storms but I nearly joined the cat under the furniture at one point.
