Red TOP refill
I have found this stuff at the local agristore to refill the flycatcher, seems to work, but may not be as effective as the original red hat powder. Does anyone have experience with other stuff.

Cracks me up when I see the price of 'baits' in Gamm Vert et al. A 10l cubi of cheapo vin de plonk from the local co-op is about €8, mixed up with any old (very old) jam kicking around, then diluted, does the job very effectively and at a fraction of the price. Once the trap has attracted a few victims, it works even more effectively.

I have no idea what it cost as it was purchased along with oil filters for the tractor, rat poison, grease gun nozzle, and other stuff. A bit grim killing rats and flies.

Get away....just name the rats after some of the more obnoxious politicos or celebrities (or foncs if they wear a name badge
) and it becomes a positive pleasure
