Oh, I wish I had the time
No, I'm afraid they were from the first page of an internet search. As anecdotal evidence I can submit that I first heard of the protests from friends in Australia who'd seen it on telly.

Agreed - the orders always come from the top. Maybe some assistant commissioner with an eye on a future gong, or even Pritti Patel, whose photo I noticed as an attendee at the Abbey jewel-fest. Whatever, @tagh , don't assume that all the boys in blue are saints, or that the law is there to protect you. There's clearly been a seismic shift in emphasis as to what the purpose of the law is. It seems to me that it is now being used as a baton against ordinary people.
Can one still fart in public?

I guess it depends on what you ate the night before. After a strong curry you might be breaching various environmental laws or the Clean Air Act.

Watched the Concert last night, and was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully something for everyone, and I admit to some tears rolling when the drones of animal shapes appeared to accompany one song. Tears really, that not enough people really care about the planet and it's creatures to really make a difference.
Some hilarious shots of politicians trying to dance in time though!
I hope King Charles can have power to do more good things - I think his heart is in the right place, he must just stand firm to, erm, temptations (shopping bags of cash and suchlike!)
Onwards and upwards!

I agree the drone display was fantastic. Kinda makes you wonder why we still use fireworks.

I thought they were Lasers of some kind, but drones make better sense, the concert some good mostly bad, thought Nicole Shirtlifter was good apart from the copious amounts of chest wobbling about like a couple of blancmanges, she really has a voice. Take that, well it's my age although that Mark Owen looked a mess, Barlow's eyebrows were on super performance as well. Overall the actual coronation, for me was a total load of poop and circumstance, the music was dire in places, definitely not for me.

I do still like a bit of chest wobbling. Sad that I missed it.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

I don't know what happened to Westminster Council's volunteers who were arrested at 2.00 am while giving out rape alarms though.
