We call them chiggers, and there's plenty in these 'ere parts of Dordogneshire, unfortunately!

I have been bitten by four or five this year so far. Teeny tiny bitey things.
The cat has been pulling out her fur so I suspect that she has the same problem.

Got bitten loads on my legs in the last month.

Started spraying my legs with anti-mosquito stuff recently, and so far, so good!
