Air quality certificate
My husband got an email telling him to renew his crit'air certificate. He never had one because the car is registered to me, him being unable to drive. Do I need one? We live in Aude and never drive in cities.

That sounds like a scam e-mail. Did you check the sender? They don't need to be renewed.

Yes, it is a scam. One of the many on the internet. Valid till the end of the car's life and as long as it is readable: Une fois acquis, le certificat est valable aussi longtemps qu’il reste lisible.
One exception: new windscreen? Almost impossible to remove, buy a new one for less than 4 euros from the official government website.

Yep - one of the many scams going around, along with parking ticket violations, cheque d'energie via caf, update payment details for amazon/paypal, Carrefour bank security details (I don't have a bank account with them or bank postal who also want me to update my security details ............. the list goes on.

Yep, I think I've received almost all of the ones Char mentioned.
Very frustrating and annoying.
