Sat here with a coffee & the local rag thinking how lucky I am to be able to live in such a nice place.

@RobertArthur You've got the same china as us - Apilco bought in drips and drabs ... erm .... about 40 years ago and hardly anything broken in all that time and use !

Espresso for me, but I'll skip the chocolatine - a pain aux raisins perhaps?. I leave Le Fig to OH these days as it's altogether too R-wing for me.

Yes, I prefer life here too, warts 'n all.

Blaze, yes, by someone I know for quite some time ( The Stones in the Park), July 1969, with a message from Mick. For some or other reason I said goodbey to the design of amplifiers, analogue mixing desks, guitars and speakers cabinets and there he is, RA, on his way to another meeting in Paris. The smell of autumn in the air, when a door of a café opens mixed with the pleasant and inviting smell of a croque monsieur and coffee of course.

I couldn't help noticing the ad to the right of the article : Omar Khayyam, where I had a brilliant evening in 1970. Sadly, I never went back there ....
Love the Paris painting (and the other one).
