I remember having both at once but can't remember when it was, probably flu and the 4th jab last November, and one in each arm.

I had both together in the same arm in the UK but I won’t again
I have a blood test for Covid antibodies next week and will decide if I have a booster after that

We've seen a few people locally wearing face masks and put it down to them perhaps being a tad unwell but maybe it's the dreaded Covid again. We've decided to go into hibernation if it takes off as we did the year before last. We caught nothing not even a cold but last summer we started going to our local bar regularly and both of us picked up a very bad dose of bronchitis twice over in November and again for me over Christmas Eve & Day so I was in bed. I know not everybody enjoys Christmas but for me it's the best time of the year and I don't intend to miss out on it this year - hopefully.

As we had covid in August we can only have the flu jab so hoping in a further 6months the covid jab is still available

I spent last weekend in hospital in Bordeaux, being rehydrated and generally pumped full of drugs for an infection I didn't know I had. Half way through my stay, I discovered that the hospital was a Covid hotbed, the city having been re-infected some weeks ago...
That was the weekend I should have been cheering Ireland on in the RWC with my 2 sons. They refused to go without me and whisked me off to hospital instead.
Our older daughter tells me there are still infectious pockets all over France, including in her dialysis centre. So it obviously ain't finished yet!

Do hope that you are feeling a lot better MAD87,
We have had covid three times so far, the last was the new one got from our neighbour and friend at our local vineyard,he didn't know he had it at the time, it came from his vinter daughter.
It was for us just like a bad cold for a few days but for years we've suffered from long covid, very bad sinuses etc.
Both had seven covid jabs so far my 8th is next month with the flue one, one in each arm.

Also hope you didn't get hit by last night's storms, having seen on TV how round Limoge got it.

Sorry to hear you've been stuck in hospital, Mad, and hope you're feeling better ....

Whilst it's easy to use Covid as a scapegoat, I can't help wondering how much our bodies are affected by it in the long term. Does it have an impact on our immune systems ? We've had Covid once, but have both had a couple of nasty colds in the last year and the latest one has dragged on. We know several people who've had pretty much the same thing in spite of being in good heath - perhaps it's age catching up ....

That's an awful lot of vaccine but perhaps you both have serious health issues. Having Covid 3 times should have given you some sort of antibodies .... perhaps not. Keep safe !
