I had to wash it away from the screen yesterday it was so bad. Had to go out on a fruitless search for a tin of paint to finish a job and find some malt vinegar for the forthcoming beetroot pickling.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Absolutely horrid here. Very windy & hissing down. Black as yer hat outside.
Mme Moggy went out for 10 mins this morning, soon shot back in again & has been asleep on our bed ever since. Horses are not moving much from stables & chooks firmly ensconced in their outdoor shelter. Wise move by all methinks. Furthest I've been is a quick dash to the polytunnel for some toms & to check chook house for eggs.
Weather like this makes me glad that a few years ago I had the roof re-slated with underfelt ,new flashings & gutters. Best 10 grand I've spent

This morning was rather fresh here in the Nièvre, 14 degrees now about 27, clouds on the horizon, above us only blue sky, should have started work in the garden early in the morning......
