Weather ... again

#261 Post by Hotrodder »

Our "local" forecast has predicted cloud, rain, thunder and lightning for the last three days. The worst we've had is an hour or so of drizzle, then bright sun, etc. Clearly someone is getting paid for doing pretty much nothing of use.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Torrential rain again. Sigh. I wonder if it'll ever stop long enough for the mammoth amount of grass to get cut/dried and baled for hay. :? :(

Big downpour here too with thunder and lightning. Cloudy with a bit of fog now. Temps much lower for the next few days, if you can believe Meteo France.

Meteo France has been forecasting thunderstorms here in the Gard today, Sunday, for several days.

We had a cloudy start, followed by sunshine, 27C and a pleasant breeze. Our pétanque session was called off because of the storms; too hot for me to play on Wednesday, even under trees; I’ll be cross if cancelling today’s session wasn’t necessary!

We too are on orange alert and I can see the storm to the west doing its stuff but as often the case the progress eastwards towards us seems to be at best slow and maybe won't happen.

Weather is weird here, it’s like Groundhog Day. Every day is a mix of sun in the morning and cloud in the afternoon with some thunderstorms - that are forecast but rarely happen. This weekend is Desert Storm, excuse the pun, little rain but full of Sahara sand that makes a hell of a mess. I washed my car last week and now it looks like it was on the desert rally.

June 14th to June 23rd, Meteo France says we will have rain !!!!! Every single day.

Now I know Meteo France cannot correctly predict tomorrow's forecast, but if this turns out correct, I'll scream !!!!

Only 14° here, cloudy and non inspiring. No rain forecast but cloud all day.

Waste of time opening the pool at this rate.
