I find this a great concern. Apathy, frustration with eu rules, possible interference from other interested regimes.

We can’t vote but there are bound to be repercussions.

Yup, with the right/ far right surging in the EU elections , and all of them at best EU sceptic , I think the the Euro will come under extreme pressure.

So the UK is about to ditch extreme right wing nationalism while the countries of the EU look to be about to embrace it.

The greens have done badly. People aren’t prepared to pay the cost of something (so enormous) that they can’t see.
Farmers are hugely frustrated by some crazy rules and lack of help.
The EU is a juggernaut which is very slow to react after its course has been set.

I suspect Putin will be laughing all day today as govts call elections.

I'm sickened - we switched off after seeing the results but before Macron's bomshell. Every region put the RN on top, which says something about the gullibility of electors. I'll now have to get in training before the parliamentary elections, but sadly, every commune we've lived in has had stong Le Pen support.

I'm sitting here this morning listening to the crowd preparing to march to commemorate the 643 men, women and children massacred by the nazis and wondering what we've learned in the last 80 years.
