Michel Barnier was nicknamed the "gravedigger of Brexit", appointed by the EU to discourage other countries from regaining their sovereignty...
His party, the Republicans, has only 66 seats in Parliament. He will have to face 3 oppositions (NFP 180 - ensemble 163 - RN 143).
It's not going to be easy !
We might see it on September 7th with the far-left demonstrations !
In 2011, he was against immigration... He is a pro-EU... 2 convictions that are difficult to reconcile when we know that the EU considers immigration as necessary...

His main problem is that the New Popular Front (the coalition of left-wing parties) has already announced that they will censure him immediately because their candidate Lucie Castets was rejected by Macron. They are not numerous enough to obtain the absolute majority for the censure to be voted in Parliament. But if Marine Le Pen joins the censure triggered by the left, the government falls ! He must therefore comply with the demands of the National Rally: Marine demanded:
- that he shows respect to the RN and its 11 million voters
- that he stops immigration
- that he restore security in France
- that he increases the purchasing power of the French,
- that he introduces proportional representation for the next legislative elections
... that's a lot ... surely too much for his taste...! Otherwise, she said she would censor...
So he must prepare his general policy speech before Parliament with caution... And, in addition, this Saturday 7, the NFP has planned to organize huge demonstrations...
Funny to see that after having been the victim of the Republican barrage against her party, Marine Le Pen holds a sort of inescapable power.
With all these vicious politicians, De Gaulle's 5th Constitution is not working any better than the previous ones...

Apart from 'showing respect' and proportional representation, I don't see how any head of government can complete your list. Too much for any PM, except long term. People expect too much too soon, I think.
