Flu vaccination

#11 Post by Chappers51 »

I had both of mine last Thursday afternoon, at the pharmacy.
I remember Blaze (I think) recommending taking Doliprane when the first Covid vaccines were given so that’s what I did, although I did feel a little feverish over the weekend.

There was another vaccine being recommended (can’t remember the name, but it was on the affiche) but I was advised to wait a couple of weeks.

My insurers recommended also pneumococcal vaccine - however with everything else I am just doing one per month.

Might that be what you were recommended? The pharmacist said advisable if encountering snotty nosed (grand) children.

Thank you - yes I think it was that (even though I don’t have grandchildren snotty nosed or not!)

Best to avoid children. I see the advice in TV commercials all the time.
"Always keep away from children" 8-)
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Can't keep away from mine: oldesst gave us our flu vaccines 2 weeks ago and told me to go to the pharmacy to have the Covid vax.

Just had our flu and covid vaccinations at the pharmacy. Although I have a bit of a cold, it wasn't a problem (no fever etc) and I'm already taking paracetamol to relieve the symptoms.
I've got a music practice this afternoon so it will be interesting to see if I feel any effects from playing.
