What are you listening to
Not at all. I've lots of Diana Ross albums with and without the Supremes, all the Motown Chartbusters albums etc etc. I am and always will be a Motown fan and anything Northern Soul. That makes me feel incredibly old (well I am a bit) but in the words of the poeme I am wearing purple (although not my purple satin hot pants! good lord don't even imagine what I'd look like in those
) just received a purple coat from OH for Christmas (I luv purple) and I do spend a little of my pension on wine and advocaat rather than brandy etc etc

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit.
