Which form please..... and

It looks as though this information might be what you need - even though it is rather old?

Just to say a big thank you to Elsie for your help.

I followed the link and found the boxes ( which were virtually the same) so form completed and sent off.

I am sure this question has been asked before. On the pink form, why should we quote 17.7% tax on dividends when they are paid gross?

It is because they are paid gross, that the French authorities apply the extra tax, which they then use in calculating how much tax you pay overall.

The logic goes something like this:

You got €100 from an investment on which no tax has been taken. If this had been in France there would have had tax deducted so your €100 in the bank would have resulted from a gain of €117,7 where they would have relieved you of the €17,7

Technical problem.

Having a problem transferring figures from the pink form to 2DC and 2TR.
I can't get it to work automatically.
And in any case there are already some figures in that section on the main declaration which have come from the bank.
I have clicked on the pencil for altering and it shows the figures from the bank but won't allow me to change them.

Well, I revisited the declaration and this time the figures have been transferred.
