Weather ... again

-10 and a light dusting of snow. Brought to mind the winter of 1963 and going to school as usual in a double decker.

-4 and 8/10cms of snow. Never thought I'd see that here!

Not a drop of snow here ! But look what's forecast here for Thursday night/Friday morning ..... eeeek ! I'm a Beaufort scale fan and force 12 is extremely rare (at 1am on Friday morning)

Our chance of precipitation for this morning according to the Met Office is 10%, but it’s been snowing since about 07h, looking very pretty and lying as the frost and ice of the last few days hasn’t budged at all. It’s only -0.5C here and is forecast to reach 3C, so I guess snow won’t be here fir long

That force 12 looks very worrying, Blaze and the temperatures some of you are having sound awful!

The weather here was meant to be improving but apparently the latest storm, Storm Goretti, is to send snow to the south and centre of England from northern France on Thursday and Friday.Thank goodness for grocery deliveries from the supermarket and a lovely helpful son living nearby!
