I have always believed that most "accidents" are the result of either inexperience or just a lack of paying attention to what is going on around you. The effort to get people to stop the phone zombies using their phones while driving would indicate that someone else thinks the same. So why are manufacturers allowed to put large distracting elements on the dash (including controls) that require taking you eyes off the road ahead? So much is wrong today, including the people with the power to make it right.
