Certainly the latest book by Dianna's brother has turned on the shit fan again, what with young Harry and his revelations, and now Lord Althrop Spencer and his allegations about Charlie boys attitude after Dianna's death, it's not a good time for the royals again. My opinion, for what it is worth, is a comparison of the royal family akin to the Mafia, historically headed up by Phillip, and after his death Charlie. It was obvious Di was imported in to the family to provide a couple of heirs to the throne, no love was lost between her and Charles after that mission had been fulfilled, and to complete the saga lets stage a phoney accident in a tunnel in Paris. I am about to receive a copy of Harry's book, Spare, might make for some interesting reading.

How coincidental that this publicity comes prior to the publication of Earl Spencer's book. A bit of engineering to boost sales no doubt. I wonder how finances are doing, particularly after 3 failed marriages (perhaps the 4th will last ?) and 7 children.

Apparently his financial situation is poor and his older children don’t speak to him. It is said that Charles and Diana were on reasonable terms when she died and both wanted the best for the boys

OH refers to Charlie''s "queen" as 'his mistress', which of course she was for decades.

I wonder why he never had her OH bumped off and saved a lot of time, she was quite a stunner as a young woman, but the ravages of time creep up on all of us.
