Busy morning over a hot stove for me and DW, did a "Beef Bourguigon" thats in the slow cooker for tomorrow, will have it with honey roast carrots and home made butter and cream mash, also made "Beef and Guinness" stew, in the oven now for tea, that will be with mustard dumplings, in the other oven is a "Sausage & Black pud Lancashire hot pot" for Friday not sure if we need much more, then a "Meat and potato" pie to make which we will have with chips. :D :D

Biggles is heading an hour south very soon to pick up a horse feed order from the UK that's arriving by lorry this evening. So I've just cooked him a bacon and mushroom omelette. The (proper) smoked streaky smelled wonderful and I'll have some later in a sarnie.

I made a massive casserole today. I know it would be best to leave it overnight to 'mature' but we are having some this evening with dumplings, mashed swede and sprouts. First casserole/stew of the season.

Just a bought pizza which we tend to have about once a week.
Tomorrow it'll be a stir-fry, lots of veg mixed with a magret, on egg noodles.
