Red Label Salmon - only two weeks past its best before date.
Just watching David Attenborough's Perfect Planet - and bears eating dead salmon - my inspiration

What's for Dinner?
None really as my missus with her innate skill at 'chucking' unmeasured quantities of spices & herbs into the 'surprises' layers of sausage meat, veggies & spuds once again created a yummy meal.
Mind you my home made sweet chilli sauce helped.

He's having chestnut and mushroom puff pastry pie and roast tatties with veggies - I'll probably have an egg on toast if we've got any bread.

What's for Dinner?
We're having a new dish .. sweet potato and coconut milk stew ..
I tried it when I made it yesterday but OH is viewing it with suspicion.
He likes spicy food and it's spicy but he doesn't completely trust anything that doesn't have some flesh of smthg in it.
Tho he enjoyed the cauliflower and fresh goat cheese tart I made the other day for lunch.

cuisses-de-canard-confites cos I love anything out of a tin
with green beans and new spuds cos it's quick, followed with strawbs and Haagen Daz vanilla ice cream - even quicker and yummy
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

What's for Dinner?
No problem .. as long as it's allowed to quote a website.
The recipe's here :
https://yuka.io/recettes/tarte-chou-fleur-chevre/
Tho .. I used coconut milk, both in the pastry and in the tart .. most of a 200ml carton overall instead of the soja stuff.
I substituted light wholemeal flour for the sarrasin flour cos I had that already. I plan to buy some sarrasin flour and try that next time.
Same quantity flour and oatmeal i.e. 70 gr of each.
I adore this tart and plan to keep making it as the pastry is nutty, the cauli and goat's cheese mix I find delicious.
Great quite warm or just tiède.
If you don't agree then feel free to blame me .. entirely.
