Thanks for the video. So nice to see those wheels again. A time when you could identify a make, model, and year of a car by just looking at it. Not like today when they all look the same until you get close enough to read the badge.
I couldn't help but think about how poor the brakes were back then with all thos hills.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

That brings back memories of the last time I was there in the 90's & getting a right rollicking from the cable car operator for hanging outside the car getting a similar video.
The leader of the Trabant pack patrolling the streets of East-Berlin, once the wrong side of the Berlin Wall. Sometimes it descends the staircase when enough tourists are eager for a real adventure: a Trabi-Safari.
Didja see the Guy Martin episode where he did one up for a special classic race at Brands Hatch? Guy and a couple of other (experienced) Trabant racers were eventually removed from the race. They were so slow the officials decided they were causing unnecessary danger to the other cars.
