But tonight we're having sauteed potatoes with Vienna schnitzel/
We're having a pasta something 'cos I unwittingly used the last few spuds we had for the oggies.

OH is having baked tattie and a veggie dahl - daughter and g/d are having baked tattie and chicken and veggies - I think I'll have cheese on toast. I feel like I'm running a restaurant at the moment.
I hate cooking.

What potato do you use for baking Char? I haven't found a French one that gives the fluffy texture after it's been baked.

Experimental time :o brown off some shin beef, fry off some peppers and onions, de-glaze with red wine, transfer to casserole dish, add ginger, garlic, one cinnamon stick, beef stock, stoned prunes and a few tablespoons of plum sauce. " not sure how strong this is" put in low oven three hours, thicken sauce if necessary, serve on bed of plain rice.

It's divine ! We both love potatoes and you can add anything you like to it (plenty of garlic and onions). It's just a variation on a vegetable quiche so plenty of room for creativity !
