Jules is back to normal, at dinner last night and breakfast this morning, no anxiety at all, and, in the forest and field this morning, he came racing back to the whistle and the call each time. But I noticed that sometimes the whistle just makes him stop and turn and it is my deep, gruff, call of his name, and viens-la, which starts him running. Then, just to be sure I wave my arms like a giant bird and make all sorts of excited noises.I might put on hold searching for a companion for Jules, his behaviour certainly suffered during the week Jazz was here, whether it was 2 males, I don't know, there was no aggro but they didn't bond and he seemed to feel an element of competition.
Interesting though, sometimes he does not seem to seek the treat, and mooches about around me once back.
