Don't share or try to sell anything on Marketplace - you should be able to opt out of that. It can been seen by the whole world, regardless of whether they're on facebook, and you'll get nothing but grief and scammers.
Stick to the groups where you actually have to join and there are admin controlling it.
And you absolutely, absolutely, trust the administrator. I trusted absolutely (only one you note) one who invited me into her group but then she banned me without any notice because she realised that I knew that something she told the others, was a lie. No more FB groups for me.
When we recently replaced a mattress from BUT, which was only two years old, but a bit lumpy and uncomfortable, with a new one from Ikea, I put it on LBC, and was surprised how quickly it sold.
I then put the previous, 1995, Ikea mattress on LBC, which was still in the grenier (the joys of having space to collect endless junk) as a freebie. It was collected the same day by a mullah from Carcassonne for his charity outlet.
I felt far better having it put to use rather than chucked on the dump.
