My electric vehicle in France is now into it's 6th year and my son is now running two in Texas. As they say in Texas "sh*t or get off the pot"
Given that they pose a safety risk to us and given they jeopardise our leccy supplies I think we have every right to discuss them - even if you and your son like them.

Sorry Robert. All very nice until you see that cheesy engine turned dash with the cheap-ass toggle switches. Spoils the whole car, as if the idea of being electric didn't already do that.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

Hotrodder, sorry to hear that you don't like those simple and reliable toggle switches, I've got loads of them. To be used one day, but when... I saw a market opportunity.

There is no disputing about taste, let's turn to scientific studies adding other elements to the ongong discussions. This time the pollution from tires. Quote: << Tires release 100 times the amount of volatile organic compounds as a modern tailpipe, says an analyst. >>

Lovely looking car but €60k plus?

I liked the simplicity, reminded me of this, inside a green Morgan 3-wheeler. I don't need zillions of menu choises. Less is more, also in price......

Wasn't that the car Freddie Flintoff was driving when he had his near-fatal accident?

The Carice is tin and bling to me. No class.

@ niemeyjt, yes, a new version of the three-wheeled Morgan sports car. The Caprice was intoduced this year, not available in December last year. From the Dutch newspaper NRC these remarks:

<< The TC2 came like a thunderclap in May. The Carice men had decided to stay under the radar until it was ready. Holleman: "You can start shouting really loudly, approach the press with a few pictures. We preferred to work on the car until it was right." It was a tough journey, but thanks to buyers willing to pay an advance, they were able to move forward step by step. Financiers came forward naturally when the Carice team could already show how thoroughly it had done its preliminary work. >>

edit: I changed my answer, because I mixed up the Morgan and the Caprice, sorry.
