Tried Spanish Saucisses Chorizo fraiches for the first time out of this world now on par with Morcilla de Burgos

Whole fore leg of pork, slow pot cooking of about six hours in some beer with onions and garlic, veg added near the end.
Should last us a week in some form or another.

It has become Winter here so made a boeuf bourguignon, as one does. It’s rather yummy.

We too had boeuf bourguignon, and it was rather yummy.
Our village café had a concert night with RagMamaRag and the supper menu was boeuf bourguignon, with spuds, followed by creme brulée with raisins soaked in marc de bourgogne. That pud is to die for.
